Dr Yannick Imbert is Professor of Apologetics at the Faculty Jean Calvin (Aix-en-Provence). He is a Tolkien scholar and has published on Tolkien’s theology of imagination (From Imagination to Faërie). He writes at the intersection of theology, imagination and culture. He has a particular interest for the cultural dimension of the Church’s mission. He serves as president of Éditions Kérygma, as well as guest French editor for the online literary journal Vessels of Light. He is author, among others, of Le charme des andréides, a reformed critique of transhumanism, and an introduction to apologetics, Croire, Expliquer, Vivre: Introduction à l’Apologétique (Charols and Aix-en-Provence: Excelsis, 2014).
